Grace and Peace!

I trust that you and your loved ones are doing well amid this challenging pandemic. Let me begin by stating that I am humbled to be able to serve another term as president of our beloved Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention.

While we may feel the pressure of our current challenging circumstances, the sudden changes in our daily lives, and the need to develop new skills. We must hold steadfast to our faith. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12).

As believers, we have the assurance of knowing that troubles don’t last always and that brighter days are on the horizon. Nevertheless, as we await the dawning of a new day, we must remain resolute in our prayer life and continue to encourage each other in our faith as we navigate the journey ahead. I am convinced more now than ever– that strong, courageous, compassionate, and visionary leadership with your continued support is paramount not only in guiding us through these unprecedented times but also necessary to take our State Convention to the next level. I am confident that together we will continue to thrive.

Thank you for your continued encouragement and support. Let us continue to work together to build the Kingdom of God here on earth and remain excited about the journey ahead as we continue to “Shift the paradigm for 21st Century Ministry.”

For His Glory,
Rev. Dr. Boise Kimber
